Every parent who has a child with autism can testify how *priceless* the sound of their child's laughter is! You can become a monthly supporter and help create more magical moments like Addy's laughter each day at Harmony Acres.
Addy came to Harmony Acres to participate in our Therapeutic Riding programming. She had symptoms related to autism, often appearing sullen, disconnected, with few verbal skills. All was going well working with the horses, but then one day, she met Doc!
Addy could not take her eyes off of this beautiful, big black horse. In spite of her limited verbal skills, she made it clear to her instructors every session that she wanted to switch from the horse she was riding, and ride Doc instead.
When Addy began working with Doc, we saw a new magic happen. Her sullen face turned to giggles. She began speaking more, interacting more, speaking up, and letting us know her thoughts and feelings.
And right now, your support, at whatever level you choose, will be doubled by a generous donor, every month for the entire year.
